Mazda Demio EV or Mazda2 EV

Mazda Motor Corporation (MMC) provides rental for electric car "Mazda Demio EV" or "Mazda2 EV". The program will begin in October 2012 only in Japan. Mazda rent them out to government agencies and fleet users (fleet). There are 100 units, which is preferred for local governments, corporations around the Chugoku, Western Japan.

Mazda reveals, Mazda2 EV cruising range to 200 km. Developed the concept independently developed electric vehicle lithium-ion battery juxtaposed efficient and electric motors (102 ps) specially formulated by Mazda. Claimed to be providing an aggressive force, capable handling and ride comfort. The battery takes 8 hours to be fully charged at the normal charging. By using the Fast Charge we only need 40 minutes to charge 80%.
